Mexican Strap Match signed for AZTECA Underground in Dallas April 1
Cesar Duran presents a special matinee show + interactive event

For the first time in America see a Mexican Strap Match in Dallas April 1st!

Cesar Duran has signed a Mexican Strap Match: Aramis vs. Gino Medina for Friday, April 1 at Cesar Duran's MLW AZTECA UNDERGROUND hosted by Gilley's in Downtown Dallas with a special 2pm matinee, featuring an MLW Fusion TV taping and interactive experience.

🎟Grab your tickets at http://www.MLWLucha.com and Eventbrite.

As the bloody feud boils over in MLW, Cesar Duran has signed one of Lucha Libre's most popular and unpredictable stipulation matches: a Mexican Strap Match!

A Mexican Strap Match features luchadores surrounding the ring, similar to a lumberjack match. The key difference: each ringside luchador is equipped with an unforgiving leather Mexican strap!

Guaranteed to see vicious attacks on the competitors if they spill out to ring, expect the ringside luchadores to crack their Mexican leather straps on both Aramis and Gino Medina when the fight goes out of the ring. Who knows? The Mexican leather strap could come into play even if Gino and Aramis are in the ring!

A bitter Gino Medina attacked Aramis after losing a trios match a few weeks back on FUSION. Now, this feud escalates as the Mexican Strap Match makes its debut north of the border in Dallas on April 1.

Will Gino Medina or Aramis be on the receiving end of the unforgiving Mexican leather strap? Find out April 1st in Dallas Cesar Duran presents MLW AZTECA UNDERGROUND!

DONOVAN MITCHELL TO LAUNCH ‘DONOVAN’S KEYS TO THE GAME’ TV SPECIAL EDUCATING ATHLETES IN LIGHT OF NEW NAME IMAGE AND LIKENESS POLICY IN COLLEGE SPORTS

-Special Debuts on NBA TV March 21 to Help College Athletes Navigate Personal Branding and Monetization-

NEW YORK, March 18, 2022 – Three-time NBA All-Star and Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell is launching a new TV special to help student-athletes capitalize off of the name, image and likeness (NIL) rule changes in college sports.  The special, entitled “Donovan’s Keys to the Game”, will debut on NBA TV on March 21 at 6:30 p.m. ET in collaboration with the NBA and NBPA.  The show will focus on educating students as they navigate the new opportunities of personal branding, strategy and monetization that come with the policy which allows student-athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness.

The show features a roundtable discussion with student-athletes from the University of Miami as well as Que Gaskins, interim President of THINK450, the innovation and partnership engine of the NBPA.  Throughout the show, Mitchell provides the rules of the game and insightful tips on how to build an image, market one’s name and monetize a personal brand, as well as potential pitfalls to be aware of when building partnerships.

“NIL is a big new term in college sports,” said Mitchell.  “As a pro and former college athlete, I feel like it’s on me to get the word out to student-athletes and their families about the smartest moves to make in this new world we’re living in.”

As part of this endeavor, Mitchell and the NBPA have compiled additional NIL resources which will be shared next week.
