LAS VEGAS (11 de mayo de 2021) - Antes de que José Ramírez y Josh Taylor se enfrenten por el campeonato mundial indiscutible de peso junior welter el sábado 22 de mayo en The Theatre de Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, dos interesantes choques de peso pluma pondrán en marcha la acción.
En una batalla a ocho asaltos, el dos-veces medallista de oro olímpico cubano Robeisy Ramírez se enfrentará a Juan Tapia, el orgullo de Brownsville, Texas.
Además, el contendiente mexicano José Enrique Vivas se medirá a Louie Coria, quien es entrenado por Robert García, en una batalla programada a ocho asaltos.
Los combates Ramírez-Tapia y Vivas-Coria formarán parte de las peleas preliminares programadas para transmitirse en vivo y exclusivamente por ESPN+ a las 5:15 p.m. ET / 2:15 p.m. PT.
El combate unificatorio Ramírez-Taylor encabeza una triple cartelera de peso junior welter a partir de las 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT por ESPN, ESPN Deportes y ESPN+.
