Additionally, Eagles-Giants scored an 8.9 HH rating – up +6% versus the 2017 10-game Thursday Night Football average (8.4 HH rating).
Digital streaming across Amazon Prime Video, Twitch, NFL digital platforms, FOX Sports digital platforms and Yahoo Sports produced an average minute audience of 773K – an increase of +76% vs. the 2017 10-game average (439K) and +55% vs. last year's Week 6 Thursday Night Football matchup between the Eagles and Panthers (498K).
Amazon Prime Video and Twitch reached a total of 2.4 million combined viewers worldwide for the FOX NFL Thursday pregame show and the Eagles-Giants game. For the Eagles-Giants game alone, 2.1 million worldwide viewers initiated a stream on Prime Video or Twitch. The average worldwide audience watching Thursday Night Football for at least 30 seconds on Prime Video or Twitch was 535K.

NFL ENTERS WEEK 6 WITH MORE EXCITING FOOTBALL AHEAD
Two undefeated teams remain – the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (5-0) and the LOS ANGELES RAMS (5-0) – as the NFL enters Week 6. Since 1990, when the current 12-team playoff format was adopted, 45 of the previous 51 teams (88.2 percent) to start a season 5-0 advanced to the postseason. The Chiefs began the 2017 with a 5-0 record and won the AFC West.
Hope still remains for teams across the league. For the first time since 1990, every team in the NFL has won at least one game through Week 5 and 19 teams are currently in or within one game of first place in their respective divisions.
Week 5 featured close contests across the board, as seven games were decided by eight points or fewer, including four decided by game-winning field goals in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime. At least one game has gone to overtime in each of the first five weeks of the 2018 season, marking the first time that a season has featured at least one overtime game in each of its first five weeks. The CLEVELAND BROWNS have played in overtime three times this season, tied with the 2002 Buffalo Bills, 1995 Indianapolis Colts and 1987 Green Bay Packers for the most such games in a team’s first five games of a season since the regular-season overtime rule was instituted in 1974.
Scoring continues to trend at a record pace at the onset of the 2018 season. Through Week 5, there have been 424 total touchdowns and 3,739 total points scored, both the most in NFL history through the first five weeks of a season. Los Angeles Rams running back TODD GURLEY leads the league with nine touchdowns (seven rushing, two receiving), while Kansas City quarterback PATRICK MAHOMES paces the NFL with 14 touchdown passes.

Veterans and rookies combined to make Week 5 one for the record books. Last week, New Orleans quarterback DREW BREES, who has 72,103 career passing yards, became the NFL’s all-time leading passer and New England quarterback TOM BRADY, who threw his 500th career touchdown pass on Thursday, became the third quarterback in NFL history to reach 500 career touchdown passes. Four rookie quarterbacks – Arizona’s JOSH ROSEN, Buffalo’s JOSH ALLEN, Cleveland’s BAKER MAYFIELD and the New York Jets’ SAM DARNOLD – were victorious in Week 5, marking the first time in the Super Bowl era that rookie quarterbacks went 4-0 or better in a single week.
Quarterbacks combined for 8,126 net passing yards last week, marking the third time the league has eclipsed 8,000 net passing yards in a single week this season. In NFL history, only eight weeks have featured at least 8,000 net passing yards and no other season in league annals has had more than two such weeks.
As the schedule turns to Week 6, the NFL returns to London for the 12th consecutive season as the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS and OAKLAND RAIDERS met at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (1:00 PM ET, FOX). The Raiders, the home team in London for a second time, welcome the Seahawks to Wembley for their first game in London.
The following two weeks, October 21 and 28, two additional teams – the TENNESSEE TITANS and PHILADELPHIA EAGLES – will make their London debuts as visiting teams. In Week 7, the Titans will face the LOS ANGELES CHARGERS, and in Week 8, the Eagles will face the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS in a matchup of 2017 playoff teams.
The NFL kicked off its series of regular-season games in London in 2007, when the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins at Wembley Stadium on their way to winning Super Bowl XLII. By the end of the 2018 season, the NFL will have played 24 regular-season games in London, with 29 of 32 teams having participated.

Week 6 kicks off on Thursday Night Football (8:20 PM ET, FOX/NFL Network/Amazon Prime) with the 171st meeting (including the postseason) between the Eagles and the NEW YORK GIANTS. Philadelphia tight end ZACH ERTZ has recorded at least 10 catches and 100 receiving yards in each of his past two games and can become the fifth player in league history to record three consecutive 10-catch, 100-yard games. Giants rookie running back SAQUON BARKLEY has recorded at least 100 scrimmage yards in each of his first five career games and can join Kansas City’s KAREEM HUNT (seven games in 2017) as the only players with 100+ scrimmage yards in each of their six career games.

The Eagles and Giants meet for the 171st time (including the postseason) with New York holding an 85-83-2 series advantage. In their last meeting (December 17, 2017), Eagles quarterback NICK FOLES passed for 237 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions for a 115.8 passer rating and cornerback RONALD DARBY had an interception in Philadelphia’s 34-29 victory at MetLife Stadium.
Last week, Eagles quarterback CARSON WENTZ passed for 311 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions for a 115.3 passer rating in the team’s loss to Minnesota. Wentz, who passed for 348 yards in Week 4, has thrown for at least 300 yards in back-to-back games for the third time in his career. Philadelphia tight end ZACH ERTZ led the Eagles with 10 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown last week and leads all NFL tight ends in receptions (41) and receiving yards (437) this season.
Giants wide receiver ODELL BECKHAM, JR. has eight receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown and threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to rookie running back SAQUON BARKLEY in New York’s loss to Carolina last week. Beckham joined New England’s DAVID PATTEN (October 21, 2001 at Indianapolis) as the only players in NFL history with at least 100 receiving yards, a touchdown catch and a 50-plus yard touchdown pass in the same game. Browns rookie quarterback BAKER MAYFIELD passed for 342 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the win. The other five to accomplish the feat are New England’s JIM PLUNKETT (September 19, 1971), Atlanta’s MICHAEL VICK (November 11, 2001), Houston’s DAVID CARR (September 8, 2002), Cincinnati’s CARSON PALMER (September 19, 2004) and Indianapolis’ ANDREW LUCK (September 16, 2002).
Cleveland wide receiver JARVIS LANDRY had five catches for 69 yards in the victory. Landry has 429 career receptions in five seasons and surpassed LARRY FITZGERALD (426 from 2004-08) for the most receptions by a player in his first five seasons in NFL history.
- The LOS ANGELES RAMS defeated the Seattle Seahawks, 33-31, to improve to 5-0 this season.
The Rams are the fifth team to score at least 30 points in each of their first five games to start a season in NFL history, joining the 2013 Denver Broncos (eight consecutive games), 2011 New England Patriots (five), 2007 Patriots (eight) and 2000 St. Louis Rams (eight). The 2013 Broncos, 2011 Patriots and 2007 Patriots all advanced to the Super Bowl.
- Minnesota quarterback KIRK COUSINS completed 30 of 37 passes (81.1 percent) for 301 yards with one touchdown for a 109.6 passer rating and wide receiver ADAM THIELEN had 116 receiving yards and one touchdown in the Vikings’ 23-21 win at Philadelphia.
Cousins, who completed 35 passes in Week 2, 40 passes in Week 3 and 36 passes in Week 4, is the first player in NFL history to complete at least 30 passes in four consecutive games.
Thielen is the third player in NFL history with at least 100 receiving yards in each of his team’s first five games to start a season, joining CHARLEY HENNIGAN of the Houston Oilers (seven games in 1961) and BOB BOYD of the Los Angeles Rams (five in 1954).
- Pittsburgh running back JAMES CONNER rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns and had four catches for 75 yards in the Steelers’ 41-17 victory over Atlanta.

- Carolina kicker GRAHAM GANO converted the game-winning 63-yard field goal with one second remaining in the fourth quarter in the Panthers’ 33-31 victory over the New York Giants.
Gano’s 63-yarder is tied for the longest game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter or overtime in NFL history. New Orleans kicker TOM DEMPSEY converted a 63-yard field goal in the fourth quarter of the Saints’ 19-17 victory over Detroit on November 8, 1970. Gano’s 63-yard field goal is tied for the second-longest in NFL history, trailing only Denver’s MATT PRATER, who converted a 64-yarder vs. Tennessee on December 8, 2013.
- New York Jets running back ISAIAH CROWELL had 15 carries for a franchise-record 219 rushing yards, including a 77-yard touchdown run, in the Jets’ 34-16 win over Denver.
Crowell, who averaged 14.6 yards per carry on Sunday, became the fourth player in NFL history with at least 200 rushing yards on 15 or fewer carries, joining the New York Giants’ DERRICK WARD (December 21, 2008 vs. Carolina), Pro Football Hall of Famer BOBBY MITCHELL (November 15, 1959 at Washington) of the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Rams’ DAN TOWLER (November 22, 1953 at the Baltimore Colts).
Jets rookie quarterback SAM DARNOLD threw three touchdown passes, including a 76-yarder to wide receiver ROBBY ANDERSON, in the victory. The Jets became the sixth team since the 1970 merger to score on both a 75+ yard touchdown pass and a 75+ yard touchdown run in the same contest, and the first since the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS on December 21, 2014.
- New York Giants wide receiver ODELL BECKHAM, JR. had eight catches for 131 yards with a touchdown and threw a 57-yard touchdown pass to rookie running back SAQUON BARKLEY in the Giants’ Week 5 loss to Carolina.
Beckham became the fourth player in NFL history with at least 100 receiving yards and a 50+ yard touchdown pass in the same game, joining New England’s DAVID PATTEN (October 21, 2001 at Indianapolis), Pittsburgh’s TOM TRACY (December 13, 1958 vs. the Chicago Cardinals) and Philadelphia’s BILLY RAY BARNES(November 16, 1958 vs. the Chicago Cardinals). NFL AND AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CONTINUE
DECADE-LONG FIGHT AGAINST CANCER WITH
CRUCIAL CATCH
- Since 2012, NFL funding has contributed to 209,900 cancer screeningsnationwide
- More than $18.5 million has been raised and donated to ACS through the partnership
- NFL players including Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson and Eli Harold talk about cancer's impact on their lives through new social media campaign
For the 10th year, the National Football League and the American Cancer Society (ACS) are working together to support the fight against cancer through "Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer." The initiative, which kicks off with this weekend's games and continues through Week 7 games, addresses early detection and risk reduction efforts for multiple cancers.
Since 2009, more than $18.5 million has been raised and donated to ACS through the partnership. Funds donated through Crucial Catch this season will be directed toward support of three screenable cancers: breast, colorectal and cervical. Funding will continue to support the American Cancer Society Community Health Advocates implementing Nationwide Grants for Empowerment and Equity (CHANGE) Program, a community-based grant program that provides grant opportunities to community health centers to support systems-level change and increased access to low- or no-cost cancer screenings in underserved communities.
Though NFL funding, ACS has also recently awarded $3.2 million in grants to 32 health systems in the 32 NFL markets to address disparities in breast cancer mortality that exist among women of color. Grant funded health systems will receive $100,000 over two years.
Since 2012, CHANGE grants have contributed to 209,900 screenings and have reached more than 632,000 individuals with education, screening reminders and patient navigation. In addition, the NFL will work with ACS and CHANGE grant recipients to host education sessions and/or screenings in their communities, and many NFL teams will participate in these educational activities, bringing these life-saving messages and screening services to those who need them most.
As part of the campaign, the NFL and ACS created THE DEFENDER, a digital tool, which provides consumers, including New Orleans Saints quarterback DREW BREES, with personalized tips to reduce their cancer risk. The free, user-friendly tool allows fans to take control of their health and increase their understanding of how healthy lifestyle habits can help reduce their cancer risk. Fans may access The Defender at TheDefender.cancer.org. Fans who complete the Defender will have the option to donate to ACS and enter for a chance to win two tickets to Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, inclusive of travel and other Super Bowl-related events, as part of an ACS contest.
This year's campaign includes new digital features where NFL players talk about cancer's impact on their lives. Players including Vikings quarterback KIRK COUSINS, Lions linebacker ELI HAROLD and Seahawks quarterback RUSSELL WILSON participated in the videos. Crucial Catch also reaches the youth and high school football community across the country. With the help of USA Football, Carolina Panthers Head Coach RON RIVERA sent a note to youth and high school football coaches nationally, offering ideas for how schools and teams can join the fight against cancer. Interested teams may visit cancer.org/youthcrucialcatch to sign up, pledge to fundraise for ACS, and download a toolkit to support their Crucial Catch game.
NFL-issued Crucial Catch gameday apparel will feature a multi-colored logo representing all cancers. NFL teams have the option of supporting early detection and risk-reduction efforts for one or multiple cancers in-stadium and in their communities. In addition, players may wear cleats, shoelaces and wristbands in any color representing the type of cancer awareness they support and/or have been impacted by during their team's Crucial Catch game.
Beginning on Sunday and continuing through Week 7, NFL Crucial Catch games will feature:
· Game balls with the Crucial Catch logo
· Multi-colored equipment for players including: helmet decals, captains' patches, cleats, wristbands, gloves, sideline caps, sideline towels, quarterback towels and shoelaces.
· Multi-colored ribbon pins for coaches and teams
· Caps and pins for game officials
· On-field multi-colored Crucial Catch stencils
· Multi-colored goal post wraps in end zones
· Field-wall banners in the color(s) of the cancer awareness movement(s) that each club supports
Game-worn Crucial Catch merchandise and footballs will be autographed and auctioned on NFL Auction ( nfl.com/auction). The NFL does not profit from the sale of Crucial Catch merchandise. Charitable contributions are donated to the American Cancer Society to support its CHANGE grant program.
In a partnership between the NFL, ACS and Twitch, starting in October during FOX's Thursday Night Football games presented by Bud Light, Twitch will donate $1 for every 100 Bits "Cheered" on the Prime Video Twitch channel ( www.twitch.tv/primevideo). Bits are a virtual good used in Twitch chat that provide viewers with a way to virtually Cheer and support their favorite broadcasts. Bits can be purchased directly from the chat window and appear in chat in the form of gem-shaped animated emotes. The more Bits used, the bigger and more animated the emotes get, illustrating the support of the fans. 100% of all Cheers from these Bits will be donated to ACS.
In support of Crucial Catch, Barclaycard is contributing 1% of all NFL Extra Points card purchases, up to $25,000, in the month of October to the American Cancer Society. In addition, cardmembers have the ability to use points to donate directly to ACS.
The NFL and all 32 teams support Crucial Catch and the fight against cancer all year long. In October, NFL teams designate home games and plan events with local organizations to bring awareness to the cause.
