El héroe kirguís Kubanychbek ansioso por golpear a Amin Ayoub después de BRAVE CF 47

DISTRITO DE SEEF._ BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination pondrá a dos de los pesos ligeros más grandes del continente en lados opuestos, ya que Abdisalam Kubanychbek se enfrenta a Rolando Dy en el evento principal del espectáculo del 11 de marzo.

Tariq Ismail tiene un récord profesional de seis victorias y una sola derrota, sufrida en su última aparición profesional contra Bernardo Sopai en BRAVE CF 38, en octubre.

Blachowicz (27-8, fighting out of Warsaw, Poland) captured the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship with a spectacular TKO victory over Dominick Reyes in September. Known for his “Polish power,” the No. 14 ranked men’s pound-for-pound fighter has also earned impressive KO wins against Corey Anderson, Luke Rockhold and Ilir Latifi. Blachowicz now attempts to cement his reign by securing his first successful title defense and handing Adesanya his first career loss.

 

No. 3 ranked men’s pound-for-pound fighter Adesanya (20-0, fighting out of Auckland, New Zealand by way of Lagos, Nigeria) quickly turned heads upon joining the UFC roster in 2018. The former kickboxer has since secured his spot atop the middleweight ladder with sensational KO victories over Paulo Costa, Robert Whittaker and Derek Brunson. Adesanya now aims to etch his name in the history books by taking out Blachowicz to become a two-division UFC champion.

 

The greatest female fighter in combat sports history, Nunes (20-4, fighting out of Coral Springs, Fla. by way of Bahia, Brazil) looks to continue building her legacy by securing her seventh overall UFC title defense —and second in the featherweight division. Throughout her storied career, she has earned stoppage wins over former UFC champions Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg and Miesha Tate. Nunes now hopes to deliver another vintage performance by becoming the first fighter to KO Anderson.

 

Former Invicta FC featherweight champion Anderson (11-4, fighting out of Kansas City, Mo. by way of Gold Coast, Australia) is poised to send shockwaves throughout the MMA world if she can finish Nunes. A powerful kickboxer, she has delivered memorable stoppage victories over Cat Zingano, Norma Dumont and Zarah Fairn during her UFC run. Anderson now has her sights set on achieving her dream of UFC gold by handing Nunes her first loss in over six years.

 

Yan (15-1, fighting out of Yekaterinburg, Russia) realized his goal of becoming UFC champion by delivering a thrilling fifth-round TKO victory over all-time great Jose Aldo last July. Currently riding an impressive 10-fight win streak, the No. 10 ranked men’s pound-for-pound fighter has also netted KO wins against UFC Hall of Fame inductee Urijah Faber, Douglas Silva de Andrade and Teruto Ishihara. Yan is now gunning for another highlight-reel finish to secure his first successful UFC title defense.

 

Sterling (19-3, fighting out of Uniondale, N.Y.) hopes to make the most of his first title shot by becoming the first fighter to finish Yan. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and former NCAA Division III wrestling standout, Sterling holds notable submission victories over Cory Sandhagen, Cody Stamann, Johnny Eduardo and Takeya Mizugaki. El presidente de Brave CF, Mohammed Shahid, garantiza la oportunidad por el título al ganador de la pelea Kubanychbek-Dy

DISTRICT OF SEEF._ El espectáculo Asian Domination de BRAVE Combat Federation estará encabezado por dos de los mejores pesos ligeros del continente: Abdisalam Kubanychbek, de Kirguistán, y el héroe filipino Rolando Dy. 

Sin embargo, más que el derecho a ser llamado el número uno de Asia en 155 libras, el evento principal de BRAVE CF 47 decidirá el próximo contendiente por el título mundial de peso ligero de BRAVE CF.

El premio para el ganador fue anunciado y reiterado por el presidente de BRAVE CF, Mohammed Shahid, quien elogió la influencia que ambos peleadores han tenido durante 2020, con Kubanychbek obteniendo una gran victoria y Rolando Dy convirtiéndose en el premio al Peleador del año.

Su pico en 2020 lo convierte en el mejor momento para convertir esa experiencia en una oportunidad para convertirse en el luchador más exitoso de su país. Lo único que tiene delante es el evento principal del 11 de marzo", agregó.

Además de los dos mejores pesos ligeros de Asia que luchan por una oportunidad por el título mundial, BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination también contará con una pelea épica de peso pluma con la joven superestrella Tae Kyun Kim, de Corea del Sur, enfrentándose a Husein Kadimagomaev en una batalla de luchadores invictos.

BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination será el primero de cuatro grandes eventos que tendrán lugar en Kombat Kingdom, el Reino de Bahrein. 

Y la organización de MMA de más rápido crecimiento ha anunciado la cartelera completa para el evento que mostrará a los mejores luchadores asiáticos con los mejores enfrentamientos en el continente.

En la pelea estelar, habrá un choque de peso ligero de proporciones épicas cuando Abdisalam Kubanychbek, de Kirguistán, se enfrente a Rolando Dy, de Filipinas. 

El ganador será aclamado como el mejor de Asia en su categoría de peso, además de convertirse en el próximo en la fila para luchar por el título mundial, que actualmente ostenta Amin Ayoub.

En el evento co-estelar, dos de las estrellas más brillantes de la división de peso pluma chocarán. Husein Kadimagomaev se enfrentará a Tae Kyun Kim, de Corea del Sur, y el ganador avanzará en la búsqueda de su propia oportunidad por el título mundial de peso pluma. 

Ambos jóvenes están invictos como luchadores profesionales, con récords de 7-0 a sus nombres.

También está programado para el evento más grande de Asia un enfrentamiento entre India y Pakistán entre Mohammad Farhad y Uloomi Karim, en la división de peso gallo.

Puertorriqueño es seleccionado competir en la decimotercera temporada de los American Ninja Warrior

(San Juan, P.R. domingo, 21 de febrero de 2021)– Lenny López, un joven puertorriqueño de 33 años y residente de Carolina, fue seleccionado para competir en el programa de superación y obstáculos más exigente de la televisión norteamericana, American Ninja Warrior, transmitido por NBC y en el cual el triunfador podrá ganar un millón de dólares. 

Lenny recientemente se enteró́ de que ha sido aceptado en la competencia, se siente honrado de poder representar a Puerto Rico y toda Latinoamérica. “Esto será́ un sueño realidad pues siempre había querido participar en esta competencia”, comentó el joven que siempre ha tenido claras cuáles son sus metas. Actualmente Lenny es Entrenador Personal, es extremadamente atlético y se prepara fuertemente para participar de esta competencia a través de diferentes estrategias y practicando diferentes deportes.

"Disfruto desafiándome a mí mismo", dijo sobre su interés en actividades físicas tan rigurosas como las que está viviendo. "Me encanta establecer metas que parecen imposibles y luego lograrlas”, expresó Lenny quien también sirve de ejemplo a niños y jóvenes que deseen ir por sus metas contra todo pronóstico.

Su ejemplo más vivo fue cuando Lenny apenas era un niño fue diagnosticado con Déficit de Atención e Hiperactividad y fracasó en sexto grado. Para él esto nunca fue un obstáculo para seguir adelante, pese a la opinión incluso de sus maestros, López logró terminar sus estudios en la escuela y obtener Bachillerato en Ciencias del Ejercicio y Promoción de la Salud. Hoy en día es Entrenador Personal, tiene su propio gimnasio, es inversionista de bienes y raíces, bolsa de valores y criptomonedas. Además de lo que práctica le apasiona enseñar a otros de lo que sabe, especializándose en que sus clientes puedan estar en forma, tanto emocional y físicamente e incluso trabajando todas las dimensiones del bienestar, incluyendo el financiero. Con mucha disciplina, creatividad e intensidad ha logrado cada una de las metas que se ha propuesto. Competir en este importante programa no será la excepción.

Se espera que la nueva temporada traiga cambios, incluidas nuevas reglas y nuevos obstáculos. Las competencias preliminares se estarán llevando a cabo en Los Ángeles, Washington DC y St. Louis. With both men on the verge of stardom, No. 13 Rodriguez (8-1, fighting out of Chicago, Ill.) and Caceres (12-8, 1NC, fighting out of Glendale, AZ) will be looking to put on an action-packed show to prove they belong with the 145-pound elite. Also, two veterans clash when No. 6 Cub Swanson (22-7, fighting out of Palm Springs, Cal.) meets No. 14Tatsuya Kawajiri (35-9-2, fighting out of Ibaraki, Japan). As a winner of seven of his last nine fights, Swanson has been steadily climbing the featherweight rankings over the last four years. Swanson’s fighting style is multi-faceted, as he holds a black belt in jiu-jitsu and is also one of the hardest-hitters in the 145-pound division with 11 of his 22 victories coming by knockout. Standing across from him will be another well-rounded fighter in Kawajiri, who owns 12 wins by knockout and 10 wins by submission. Utah’s own Court McGee (18-5, fighting out of Orem, Utah) has a chance to make the Salt Lake state proud when he gets home field advantage against the powerful Dominique Steele (14-7, fighting out of Cincinnati, Ohio). McGee started his MMA career in 2007 in his home state and compiled an impressive record of 10-1. He followed that up by winning season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter in 2010 and has proven himself as a versatile athlete inside the Octagon. Facing him is Steele, one of the hardest-hitters in the welterweight division. While McGee relies on stamina to outlast opponents, Steele will be looking to end the fight with a knockout. Seven of Steele’s 14 wins have come by KO, but McGee will look to power through Steele to get a win on his home turf.

Las Vegas — UFC^® heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic brought Cleveland its first world title since 1964 at UFC 198 with a first-round knockout over Fabricio Werdum in May. Now, Cleveland’s favorite son will get a home game for his first title defense when he meets world-class kickboxer Alistair Overeem at UFC^® 203: MIOCIC vs. OVEREEM. Also scheduled for the UFC’s first trip to Cleveland is another heavyweight clash between top-ranked Fabricio Werdum and No. 5 Ben Rothwell. The action takes place Saturday, September 10at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

After shocking the world in enemy territory, Miocic (15-2, fighting out of Independence, Ohio) will find himself on his home turf when he collides with the heavy-handed Overeem (41-14, 1 NC, fighting out of Amsterdam, the Netherlands). Having finished 12 of his 15 career wins by knockout, Miocic looks to make a statement with a win over “The Reem,” who is a former kickboxing world champion with 20 knockouts to his name. When you add his 17 submission victories into the mix, Overeem possesses dynamic finishing power both on his feet and the ground. Yet, as a pair of strikers at heart, Miocic and Overeem will take any opportunity to get a knockout victory.

In addition, former heavyweight champion Werdum (20-6-1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calif.) makes a quick return to the Octagon^® after his first loss since returning to the UFC in 2012. There’s no doubt the Brazilian will look to win in impressive fashion, as he has hopes of another shot at the title in his immediate future. Standing in his way is the resurgent Rothwell (36-10, fighting out of Kenosha, Wisc.) who has won four of his last five bouts, with each victory ending before the final horn. With 27 career knockouts to go along with six submissions, “Big Ben” looks to make a statement that will result in a meeting with the winner of the main event for the UFC heavyweight world title. With 49 finishes between the two, fans won’t want to blink.
