AUSTIN PACK AND CONOR AGNEW JOIN THE PUERTO RICO FOOTBALL CLUB

San Juan, PR, April 8, 2016– Puerto Rico Football Club proudly announced today that goalkeeper Austin Pack and midfielder Conor Agnew,  two players from the University of North Carolina Charlotte will join the Puerto Rico Football Club for this upcominginaugural season.
A Native of Alpharetta Georgia, Austin is a 22 year old goalkeeper, who excelled at soccer power University of North Carolina Charlotte, including being named the conference defensive player of the twice in 2014. Austin recorded 8 shut outs that year which created interest from several pro clubs. He was an invite to the PRFC Pro Combine in FL who stood out there which earned him his first pro contract with PRFC. 
Conor is an all-action midfielder who covers plenty of turf during 90 minutes. Like Austin, he played and excelled at UNCC.  A star there, he made Conference offensive player of the week on more than one occasion. He too was very impressive at the PRFC Pro Combine and displayed good skill and great energy as well. Conor is a versatile player who has the ability to play in a few different roles and will be expected to force his way into the side very quickly.  Only 22, the PRFC staff eagerly anticipated his contributions this season. 
“Austin and Conor both were invites to our Player Combine in Florida who showed really well among the group of pro players in attendance.  They both had excellent careers at UNCC and have earned their contracts at PRFC.  We look forward to them starting their career with us and to being key members of our team in 2016”, said Tom Payne, President of PRFC.

MLS EXPERIENCEPLAYERS TREVOR SPANGENBERG AND SIDNEY RIVERA JOIN THE PUERTO RICO FOOTBALL CLUB

San Juan, PR, April 4, 2016– Tom Payne, President of the Puerto Rico Football Club proudly announced today that goalkeeper Trevor Spangenberg and striker Sidney Rivera,  two players with Major League Soccer experience, will join the Puerto Rico Football Clubfor this upcoming inaugural season.
Trevor, 24; becomes the second keeper to sign for PRFC. After playing four seasons at Missouri State University, Trevor signed on with Chivas USA and made an appearance for the MLS side against the Houston Dynamo.  After the dissolution of Chivas USA, he was signed by the New England Revolution of MLS. The PRFC staff spotted Trevor during the preseason with the Revs, and he has been on the radar ever since.  He gained valuable playing experience at the Richmond Kickers last season and brings athleticism, agility and stature to PRFC.
Sidney is a Staten Island native who played four years at Old Dominion University. He scored 9 goals in 2014 which led to him being picked in the 2015 Major League Super draft by Orlando City.  Sidney is a physically imposing striker with real skill who can run, and who has a bright future, and can soon become a fan favorite at PRFC.  
“We are really pleased to announce the signing of Sidney and Trevor.  Both players come to us from Major League Soccer teams, and both are really highly thought of prospects.   We look forward to each of them bringing their MLS experience to the team, while making major contributions on the field in 2016”, said Tom Payne, President of PRFC.
